Specialty raw materials

Oils & oil derivatives

Natural oils and fatty-acid derivatives — renewable feedstocks behind resins and coatings.

We supply natural oils and their derivatives as industrial raw materials. Drying and semi-drying oils are the backbone of alkyd resins and oil-based coatings, while saturated oils serve as renewable feedstocks for colour-stable baking systems, plasticizers, lubricants and personal-care formulations.

Types & classifications

Castor oil

High-purity renewable oil for coatings, lubricants and plasticizers — also stocked as First Special Grade (Castor Oil No.1).

Tall oil fatty acid

Pine-derived fatty acids for alkyd resins, soaps and lubricant esters.

Linseed oil

The classic drying oil — cures by air oxidation; the core of drying alkyds and wood finishes.

Coconut oil

Saturated, non-drying oil for colour-stable baking alkyds and surfactants.

Soybean oil

Semi-drying oil balancing flexibility, adhesion and drying time — a workhorse for alkyd resins.

Sunflower oil

Drying oil used alongside linseed in air-curing alkyds and light-coloured finishes.

Palm oil

Versatile saturated feedstock for oleochemicals, soaps and esters.

Key applications

Alkyd & resin production

Oil length and oil type define an alkyd — we supply the full range from drying to non-drying oils.

Paints & coatings

Binders and modifiers for oil-based paints, stains and varnishes.

Plasticizers & lubricants

Renewable esters and derivatives for flexible PVC and industrial lubricants.

Soaps & personal care

Feedstocks for surfactants and cosmetic formulations.
