Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) is a water-soluble synthetic polymer prized for its strong film-forming, bonding and emulsifying properties. We supply PVA to industrial formulators across adhesives, textiles, paper, construction and coatings.

Types & classifications

Partially hydrolyzed (78–89%)

Dissolves readily in cold water with superior flexibility, adhesion and emulsifying power — grades such as 17-88 and 24-88 for adhesives and emulsion polymerisation.

Fully hydrolyzed (98–99.9%)

Needs hot water to dissolve but delivers excellent tensile strength, water resistance and barrier properties — grades such as 17-99 and 26-99 for textile and paper sizing.

Modified specialty grades

Carboxyl- or sulfonic-modified grades and PVB intermediates for optical films, ceramic binders and water-soluble packaging.
